Reliance is a place of true innocence, a wholesome environment that is filled with an almost otherworldly beauty that isn’t of our time. With this beauty, you would never believe that something so dark could even exist in this place.

I am very open and honest when it comes to strange happenings during my explorations. As both an urban explorer and photographer, I can’t be naive and say that I haven’t experienced anything out of the ordinary before. I would be lying if I said that I had never experienced anything that didn’t obey the laws of our physical world. The south is filled with numerous ghost stories—you cannot find a place that doesn’t have a ghostly tale revolving around the Civil War. Heck, even my old work place was built on top of an old Civil War hospital camp. My dad, my friend Schon, and I were about to experience something downright unexplainable in the Higdon Hotel.
